WIWW- Lowlights
Welcome to What I Wore Wednesday. If you are new, this is where I share what I wore each week. Hopefully you’ll take away an idea or some style inspiration. As always, feel free to email me with any questions!
Does anyone else feel like their best outfits are when you are out of time and just have to throw something together? We woke up really late for church last week and I hurried to get ready while Soren got the boys ready. No time for showers or outfit deliberation. And this was my best outfit this week. Go figure.
By the way, did you know that pointy shoes are back in? Good thing I held on to these from the last time they were around. Are you wearing them yet?
Top: GAP, Skirt: Thrifted and altered by me, Shoes: TJ Maxx, Necklace: EBay
This outfit I pulled straight from a GAP ad. When it came in the mail several months ago I told Soren, “This is my look for fall.” Chambray shirt/button up, colored skinnies (or cords) and ankle boots. It felt really good to pull it off.
Top: Thrifted, Jeans: Thrifted, Shoes: Target, Belt: Eddie Bauer
This photo was from our fake, first day of school photo shoot. Since we are doing a coop preschool, all of the moms take turns teaching. I was first in the rotation and thus Easton never ‘left’ for school. This week it was at his best friend’s house so we took some snapshots. I found this vest thing at Savers and knew it was perfect to pair with leggings and jeggings this fall. It covers the bum nicely.
Top: J Crew, Vest: Savers (Charlotte Russe), Pants: GAP, Shoes: TOMS
I have been eyeing many styles of Peter Pan collar necklaces this fall and I am working on getting them in ONE little MOMMA Shop. Soren made this one for me this week and although it has some kinks (no pun intended), it looks awesome.
Top: Old Navy, Jeans: Target, Boots: American Eagle (OLD!), Necklace: ONE little MOMMA, Bracelet: Paparazzi
This was definitely my most normal and easy going outfit of the week. I woke up sick this day and pulled out some nice jeans with hopes that feeling cuter = feeling better. I think it worked out.
Top: Eddie Bauer, Jeans: TJ Maxx (Lucky Brand), Shoes: Old Navy, Sunnies: F21
Two skirts in one week. Crazy. Soren and I went to the temple with my family over the weekend. I’m loving purple and brown together this fall. The lace top is new and I’m excited to wear it in place of a white tee in the future.
Cardi: Old Navy, Top: Sew Dang Cute, Skirt and Scarf: Eddie Bauer, Boots: Target
ps..does my hair look any darker? Can you even tell I got lowlights?

ReplyDeleteYou're adorable. I am so copying your Gap inspired look; I've got a chambray shirt that is dying to look that cute :) I wish it was cooler here in SoCal, because you're making me dream of fall. If I put boots on right now, my feet would sweat like crazy!!
ReplyDeleteYou are super cute! I love that first outfit!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAll of your outfits are gorgeous! And I'm not a fan of pointy shoes for myself--my feet are long already, so I don't like them looking any longer, but I think other people can pull them off really well!
ReplyDeleteSo many great outfits! Love the mustard and floral jeans!
ReplyDeleteKilee! I LOVE your style. The pic with your little guy is so adorable (and I love your gap pants + TOMS in this look)!

ReplyDeleteI just found your blog via Sugar Bee Crafts and I'm in love with your style. I had to look at all of your previous wiww posts. I really need a pair of mustard jeans now! I have a bright blue pair and was on the fence about mustard until this post.
ReplyDeleteLove all of these outfits but I'm especially mad about the first two. Such great, bold color combos!
ReplyDeleteAll of these outfits are fantastic! Pointed heels look horrible on me, I don't care if they are back in style...but you look cute in them! Thanks for linking up to Sunday Style :)
