The Perfect Maternity Outfit

You know I actually did live in this outfit while pregnant because you've seen this combo on me plenty of times over the last few months. But there is method to my repetitiveness! The fitted tee is important because it proves you are pregnant and shows off whatever size your cute belly is. (For even more help shaping a cute belly, wear a Blanqi tank underneath!) The cardigan has your back - because we all know love handles are inevitable during pregnancy. Use the cardi to hide anything you don't want that fitted tee and those skinny jeans to highlight.  The great part about it is there are so many ways to wear it. In this outfit I'm wearing a striped tee and a jewel toned cardigan, but just swapping the black and white stripes with red and white stripes and a camel cardigan would change the look of the whole outfit. I also the idea of wearing a graphic tee with a solid cardigan or a solid tee with a printed aztec cardigan. Other cardigan ideas include a duster (super long cardigan) or a slimmer fitting boyfriend cardigan.  These black distressed jeans were staples for me, but you could also wear any wash of denim and add more or less distressing. Gray denim and olive skinnies are two other options for varying this look. And then there are the booties. There are so many styles of ankle boots that you really could change the whole look with the change of a boot.
