If you were to look through my closet, you'd be able to tell pretty quickly what my favorite color is this season. Once you pulled out the piles of cream, gray, and black that dominate my closet year round, you would find a whole lot of maroon. This gorgeous wine color is quite possibly everyone's favorite color right now, with olive coming in a close second. And although I have plenty of tops in this color, I've been on the hunt for the right pair of skinny jeans, leggings, or pants in a deep, jewel toned maroon.
Nordstrom has quite a few burgundy pant options, but as soon as I saw these cropped J. Crew pants at Nordstrom, I knew they were the pants I'd been looking for. I'm always drawn to a cropped cut, and the kicky flared leg is very modern and totally on trend. They are a fun deviation from my skinny jeans addiction and are a super cool, slightly dressy way to add color to a fall outfit.
