Nordstrom Anniversary Sale- In-Store Try-Ons Tops and Sweaters
Good morning ladies! Today is the second day of the Early Access to the Anniversary Sale and I still have plenty more to share. Thank you for all of your feedback on yesterday's blog post and social media posts- I'm SO GLAD my recommendations have been helpful! I myself was shocked at how helpful it was to go into the store and try things on. I really think the info I have to share is SO much more beneficial having had my hands on all the things!
I had some questions yesterday about sizing so to help you out I'm listing my sizes and stats below.
HEIGHT: 5'7"

TOP SIZE: XS or S
PANT SIZE: 0, 2, or 26

TEE // JEANS
This tee is my favorite item I purchased that can be worn right now. It's got great drape and it's not see through. I did try it on with a white bra this morning as opposed to a nude bra and I definitely recommend the nude one. I'm wearing an XS.
These jeans are one of my two favorites that are under $100 in this sale. They don't have a lot of stretch, but they fit TTS and are a great dark wash with knee rips.

This top was surprisingly cute on. The model online is wearing it off the shoulder which isn't my thing. But I think it looks good this way too. This is a size small. This one will be cute with army green skinnies later and white jeans too.
I wanted to love this one on the rack. But once I got in on it was a NO.
This tee is super soft, slightly sheer but it doesn't need an undershirt. It's under $20 and I'm wearing a small but an x-small would have also fit. My only issue with it was the deepness of the V. It's too low for what I wear, but I don't think it would be a problem for most people. This one always sells out early.
This top is out of my norm and I ultimately decided against it. But the longer I had it on the better I thought it looked. This is a size small. It does come in several other colors and prints and it might be good for work wear, but I ended up passing on it.
This sweater is SO soft. It's almost a chenille fabric and I loved how it felt on. I am wearing a small but I think I would have liked it in a medium better. Love the blush color and the knit.
This sweater was an instant yes. It's less than $30, really soft and it feels really high quality. Of course I grabbed the olive color, but it comes in several other colors as well. If you are looking to buy multiples of one sweater, this is the one I recommend.
This sweater was intriguing but the color and the shape were all wrong on me. NOPE.
This sweater was cool on the hanger, but weird on me. The arms are SO long. As a mom I struggle with bell sleeves or super long sleeves. They GET IN THE WAY so much! So no on the sweater.
This is the same sweater as the yellow one above. I'm wearing a size small. I do like the blush color better, but the fit was still to frumpy on me.
This top is hard to see because it is black. But it's a button up with a little bit of a puffed sleeve at the shoulder. I actually liked it on. It would look great with a pencil skirt or dressed up with heels, but it was a little bit scratchy. Not crazy scratchy, just that crepe material that didn't feel fabulous. Wearing a size small.
I wanted to love this cardigan. The camel color is fabulous. I think it's still a good one, but compared to others in the sale it wasn't my favorite.
This cardigan came home with me. I can't say no to gray but it does come in several other colors. I love the price ($31) and the fit. Wearing size small.
This cardigan is dreamy. The blush color is already sold out, but don't wait to order it in another color. It's going to sell out in all sizes, all colors!! I'm wearing a small but the x-small fits too.
This top is so pretty on. It's sheer above the v so you may want a nude tank or something to go under it. Wearing a size small. Also comes in blush.
This sweater is already selling out as well. I love the ballet-inspired wrap shape and both the gray and the beige colors are fabulous. Don't wait on this one. Wearing a size small.
I wanted to love this top. It's thick sweatshirt material where the stripes are and then a cotton poplin type material where the pleats are. Unfortunately I don't think the pleats will hold up well in the wash. Some of them wear already wrinkled in the one I tried on. Wearing a size small.
These jeans are the BEST dark skinnies of the sale. Instant confidence boosters. They fit TTS and feel like butter. If you have been wanted to invest in a pair of jeans, this is the one!
This sweater is even cuter on than on the hanger. I love the fit and the color, although it comes in a lot of great soft neutral colors. This is a size small and for a Free People top this price is GREAT!
This tee is a struggle for me. I tried it and I just did not feel like myself.I don't understand the shape of it. Not for me.
THIS CARDIGAN THO. SO SOFT. Snatch this one up. You will live in it this Winter. It also comes in dark red and navy, but I bought the brown. It's really softer than you would ever think. Madewell sweaters usually run big so size down. This is an x-small.
