An Updated Pair of Flats and More Shoes Under $100

Happy August! This is one of my favorite months of the year for so many reasons. It's my birthday month, I love back to school time, and I love putting together pre-Fall outfits. I don't even feel bad about busting out my favorite Fall nail polish color (Bittersweet by Ulta) or starting to wear close toed shoes more often. It's August- so anything goes!
Today I wanted to share this pre-Fall outfit which is made up of basics that you ought to have in your own closet too. And if you don't, most of them are still available and in stock at the Anniversary Sale. This outfit is not rocket science, but it's a good one. It starts with a long striped tee, faux leather leggings, a military jacket and then ends with a great pair of black flats. I love how it all came together, but I think my favorite update to these basics is the shoes.
You can wear so many different shoes with this outfit combination, but these simple flats are the perfect shape (rounded, but not too rounded), they have a cute ankle strap and they are under $50 for the rest of the week. They also come in rust and teal- both of which I love for mixing with Fall outfits.
Some fit details that might be helpful..
JACKET- I'm wearing an XS. Madewell jackets seem to run a little big. This exact one is sold out but here and here are other great military jacket options on sale right now. This is the new Madewell jacket that is most similar.
SIMILAR TEE- This tee is from last year, but here and here are two other similar ones. Finding a long one can be hard, but a shorter one with black jeans would also work to create a similar outfit.
LEGGINGS- These are the best faux leather leggings. They fit well without squeezing you too much. I wear size S.
SHOES- These fit TTS. They don't have much support, but I don't find them uncomfortable. I wore them all day and had no problems.
SUNNIES- These are the ones I wear daily.
EARRINGS- Size large, Flint Cut-Outs.
BAG- This tote is my favorite everyday tote for size and shape. This version of it is on sale now in multiple colors.
RING- I get questions about my criss cross ring all of the time. It's on sale right now and I highly recommend it. I wear a size 6 on my pointer finger.
