OLM Anniversary Sale- First Faves

Happy Thursday! It's going to be a good one because today is the first day of Early Access for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Yesterday I headed to the store to get early-early access and try on all the things. I'm sure you are only here for the sale summary today, so I won't drag this out. This post has a lot of the items I tried on, loved and purchased yesterday. It was a lot! I plan to style these items more soon, but here is a quick look at all of my first faves! SHOES

Sam Edelman Rivera Genuine Calf Hair Flat Color: Sand Leopard These flats fit so well! Last year's Sam Edelman flats slipped off your feet, but these stay on and fit true to size. They also come in a few other colors, but the leopard is a winner.

Steve Madden Sultan Chelsea Wedge Sneaker

Color: Taupe Suede I was so happy to see these as part of the sale. These are just like my wedge sneakers that I own in three colors! They have a hidden wedge that doen't even feel like a wedge. These were super comfy and also come in black. 

Dolce Vita Tommi Perforated Bootie Color: Tan Nubuck I don't usually do a flat ankle boot, but these won me over. They are a buttery leather and really easy to wear. These will be really comfortable for end of Summer and into Fall because they have the perforated leather. They also come in gray. Fit is TTS.

Converse Chuck Taylor Shoreline Sneaker Color: Light Twine These might be my favorite everyday shoe from the sale. They are a no-brainer at only $45, plus they are super comfortable, have an elastic opening and they really stay snug on your feed. I ended up sizing down at half a size for best fit (usually wear size 8.5 and went to 8).

Marc Fisher Valen Sandal Color: Taupe Suede These shoes are my FAVORITE! Marc Fisher is a great brand and the quality on these is fab. The stacked heel makes them really easy to walk in. Fit is true to size and these are another great pair for transitioning from Summer to Fall.

Adidas Flashback Sneaker Color: Clear Brown/Brown/White I always pick up some new sneakers at the sale and this year it is the Adidas. I love the taupe/nude and the black! These actually fit true to size. I wouldn't say they are great for running or cardio, but more for errand running or something lighter.  Adidas Swift Run Sneaker Color: Black/White Not as sturdy as the Adidas Flashback Sneaker but comfortable and fit true to size

BP Tonya Open Toe Mule Color/Material: Black Suede These are a new show style for me and I kinda love them. The dip in front is very flattering, they are comfortable and are a good price point for a trendy piece.

Sam Edelman Maurine Bootie Color/Material: Golden Caramel Suede These are such a classic boot. I bought these last year in the beige color and wore them all the time. This colorway is a really nice camel color and makes for a good everyday boot. They also come in gray and black.

UGG PAX Waterproof Wedge Boot Color: Chipmunk Leather These boots really reminded me of Sorel boots when I saw them. They fit true to size and they have a shearling insole! It's so soft! These are super cute  and priced well at $129 instead of $199. You can also shop a similar Sorel boot on sale ($133 instead of $200) here. 

Hunter Original Short Rain Boot Color: Black/Dark Slate If you have been wanting a pair of classic Hunter boots- these are them! This year the basic black is on sale in the tall and short shaft. I totally recommend if you have had rain boots on your wish list.

Vince Camuto Movinta Bootie Color: Tree House These are a super cute little boot. They fit true to size and are a super soft suede material. The angles of the heel make your feet look tiny! These will look great with a dress or jeans and have a nod to the Western trend that is coming this Fall.

These boots were even sold out the first day at my store. I bet they fly online too. But they are so cute! You know I love a white ankle boot!

JEANS

AG Prima Skinny Jeans  // SHIRT // SHOES I initally wasn't too impressed with these jeans, but Soren saw this pic and told me they were great. :) They have a cigarette leg and they are a little longer than I like. They did fit TTS and these are size 26.  Size: 26

Rag & Bone Raw Hem Ankle Skinny Jeans // SHOES Rag and Bone is one of my faves every year. These are black skinnes that do fit a little small so you could size up. These will not stretch out or fade.  Size:26

Frame Le High Ankle Skinny Jeans // SHOES These are a great gray jean. They hit at a true ankle length and the wash is really flattering. I sized down because they didn't have a 26. I'd recommend your normal size.  Size: 25

AG The Legging Ripped Ankle Skinny Jeans // TEE // SHOES These jeans are all good! They have a cute little slit at the ankle and the wash is really nice and flattering. They do have one distressed knee and are the perfect ankle crop Size: 26

J.Crew Billie Demi Boot Crop Jeans // TEE // SHOES These actually fit really well. Unlike most demi boot crop jeans, these don't make you look short. They fit true to size and are a good casual jean Size: 26

AG Ex-Boyfriend Relaxed Slim Jeans // TEE // SHOES These jeans are a cute boyfriend variation. They fit a little big and may stretch out.  Size: 25

BLANKNYC The Madison Straight Leg Crop Jeans These are great! I love the style and the price point! For a high-waisted jean theses are not mom jeans. They fit TTS and are only $55. Size: 26

BP Fleece Lined Joggers // SHOES So these are great for lounging and a great price. They aren't as luxe as my Abercrombie sweats, but these are still super comfy. And cheap! Size: Small SWEATERS

Halogen Long Open Front Cardigan // PANTS // SHOES There are all kinds of varsity stripes in the sale. This was my favorite cardigan with the stripe detail. This is size small which is a good size because I want it to be over sized. It does not appear to shed yet!

J.Crew Oversize Wool Blend Cardigan // TEE This one is just a good basic cardigan. Fits well and TTS. Size: S

Hinge Balloon Sleeve Cardigan // TEE // JEANS // SHOES This basic cardigan has fun balloon sleeves. It fits over sized. I grabbed the black version.  Size: XS

TROUVÉ Side Slit Sweater These sweaters are so hard to resist. So soft, so flattering, so many colors. Fits TTS. Size: S

Dreamers By Debut Exposed Seam Sweater// JEANS // SHOES I bought this one last year. It's so super soft and I could definitely buy in all colors. Plus it works with these new Converse! Size: XS

Leith Ribbed Shawl Cocoon Sweater // TEE // JEANS This is this year's Leith cardigan. I love it in this color. It still fits over sized. Size: XS

Leith Side Split Midi Cardigan // TEE // JEANS I love the length on this one. And the price point. It comes in several colors and fits a little big. Size: XS

TOPSHOP Chevron Fine Gauge Sweater I'm kind of obsessed with this little rainbow stripe sweater. It fits SO SMALL so size up like two sizes.  Size: US 8

TROUVÉ Layering Tee // JEANS // SHOES This long sleeve tee is a great layering option. It is so soft and fits snug. Size up. Size: S

Hinge Lettuce Edge Ribbed Top This style of tee shows everything. It just hugs. I bought it for wearing with overalls and other things.  Size: S

Hinge Mix Print Top // JEANS // SHOES I wasn't sure about this one until I got it on. And it's so cute! The pattern mixing on it is great and the colors are gorgeous! Size: S

BP Raw Edge Scoop Neck Tee This tee is on sale every year! It's cheap, but a good basic. I love this color, but I also bought it in black and white. Do size down. Size: XS

TOPSHOP Lion Sweatshirt This one is just fun. I love animal graphic tees.  Size: US 4-6 JACKETS/COATS

J.Crew Dover Blazer This blazer is SO cute on. It's really well constructed and honestly I love the pink. Do size down for good fit and order fast before it sells out! Size: 00

BLANKNYC Meant to Be Moto Jacket This is my favorite jacket from the sale. It's a faux leather jacket with a sweatshirt hood. It's a lot edgy and plenty casual, Also the hood is detachable! I debated between S and XS. Both would have worked. Size: XS

Woven Heart Faux Fur Teddy Coat First- this is only $70!!!! And it's so so so  soft and cute. It will sell out.  Size: XS

Halogen Bouclé Coat This one is so much more flattering than this pic shows. It's a pretty lilac color and has a great drape.  Size: XS

Halogen Leather Moto Jacket This is my favorite leather jacket that I tried on. It's buttery, easy to move in, and 100% leather. Size: S

Caslon Faux Shearling Jacket No surprise I bought this one. It's so soft! It does runs small so don't size down.

TROUVÉ Menswear Blazer Plaid blazers will be everywhere this Fall. This is a great option. This one fits true to size but it is a bit boxy. Size: XS Here is a round up of more things I love from the sale and would snatch in a heartbeat today!
